The “Ask me” chat on this site is an AI assistant. It answers in my voice, in the first person, but it isn't me: it draws only on what I've written and said in public, the articles, talks and interviews collected on the Work page, and it links to them so you can check.

What it knows

The full text of the 35 pieces kept on this site, and summaries of 57 more items: talks, podcasts, interviews and press. It doesn't know anything I haven't published, and it won't make up opinions I haven't expressed. When it doesn't know, it should say so.

How it works

Each question goes to Claude, a model made by Anthropic, together with a short overview of my work. When a question needs detail, it reads the relevant article first. Spending is capped with daily and monthly budgets.

Limits

It can be wrong, and some things I wrote years ago may no longer reflect what I think. It doesn't speak for LookDeep Health, Appirio, the Sikh Coalition or anyone else. Questions and answers are stored so I can review them and correct it; IP addresses are not stored.
